Let the Nintentrials begin!

    So this is something I have been wanting to do for a while, and I'm actually getting around to doing this.  This blog will be about my adventures, my trials, my success, and my failures as a Nintendo gamer.  My goal is to have this blog include: reviews, stories, and recommendations about various Nintendo games.
 
   I suppose I should start with a little background as me as a gamer.  I got my first video game system, a purple Gameboy Color, on my 6th birthday, after I had spent the better part of the previous six months literally begging my parents for one.  My first game was Pokemon Pinball,  which I only got because all the stores were out of the game that I really wanted: Pokemon Red Version.  I finally got Red, along with Super Mario Bros. Deluxe the next Christmas.  I would play the games at every given opportunity (which wasn't terribly often, because our parents didn't like us spending a whole lot of time on the video games.)  Throughout the years, Nintendo wasn't the only console that I've owned, but it certainly has been the most special for me.  Especially Pokemon.  I have played every main game in the series, a number of side games, and quite a bit of Pokemon merchandise.

   I currently own a number of video game systems: Wii U (deluxe), 3DS XL (Red Pokemon edition), DSi, DS, 2 Gameboy Advances, PSP (God of War edition: given to me by a friend), Gamecube (with Gameboy player), and finally my original Gameboy Color. I probably will be blogging quite a bit about each of these (aside from the PSP... it may pop up from time to time.)

   So if anyone is actually reading this (not very likely), you are probably already bored with all this information, and are thinking: What about the games?  While I'm going to save most of that for the next post, I will give you a bit.

My current Top 10 Nintendo games (top to bottom):
1) Pokemon Y and Pokemon X
2) Super Mario Galaxy 2
3) Super Mario Galaxy
4) Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2
5) Super Smash Bros. Brawl
6) Super Mario Bros
7) Pokemon Black and Pokemon White
8) Animal Crossing: New Leaf
9) Pokemon Emerald
10) Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Stadium 2 minigames

A couple of disclaimers to this list:
*I have never finished a Zelda game, despite staring most of them.  Working on fixing this
*I have never finished a Metroid game
*I have barely played any Star Fox or F-Zero games.
*I have yet to play Super Mario 3D World, which I'm almost positive will crack this list.

So I probably have quite a bit of games left to play before I could call this list anything close to finalized, but I'm looking forward to share that experience with you.
